UiT graphical profile in LaTeX

A set of LaTeX templates using the official UiT graphical profile (backgrounds, colors, fonts, margins, etc). I could not find such templates anywhere else and thus put together my own. I'm sharing them here in case anyone else wants to use them or have comments/suggestions/improvements.

Installation

Download, and put the files somewhere the LaTeX compiler can find them.

The "texmf" ("Library/texmf" on Mac) folder in home folder on *nix is fine. Both LuaTeX and XeTeX seem to find everything there without issues. In theory, /usr/share/texmf could be used instead, if preferred.

There is no other installation needed.

TODO

  • Option for theme-color.
  • Option for background image language.
  • Deeper lists.
  • Automatically choosing Adobe Minion Pro font when available.
  • More template formats.

Example: Article class

\documentclass[titlepage]{uit-article}
\usepackage[norsk]{babel}
\usepackage{lipsum}

\title{Title}
\author{The Author}

\begin{document}

\tableofcontents
\listoftables
\listoffigures

\section{One}
\lipsum[4-5]

\section{Two}
 ... blabla

\end{document}

Example: Beamer presentation

\documentclass{beamer}
\usetheme[]{UiT}

\title{Title}
\author{The Author}

\begin{document}

\begin{frame}
    \titlepage
\end{frame}

\begin{frame}
    \frametitle{Here's a perfect example}
    \framesubtitle{aka ``test''}
    \begin{theorem}
        This works until proven otherwise.
    \end{theorem}
\end{frame}

\end{document}
